We are a Christ-centred NGO dedicated to educating, empowering, and transforming the lives of vulnerable children and their families in Masaiti District and beyond.
We believe that every child, no matter how remote or disadvantaged, deserves the opportunity to learn, be cared for and to lead a life of dignity.
Through our schools, safe houses, feeding programs, tertiary bursary initiatives, and community empowerment projects, Nsobe is nurturing a generation that will transform Zambia from the inside out.

Nsobe Schools for the Community
Providing Christ-centred primary and secondary education to over 600 children, empowering them to rise from poverty with knowledge, confidence, and purpose.
Safe Houses for Vulnerable Girls
Offering a secure, nurturing home for at-risk girls from remote areas to continue their education safely..
Feeding Scheme
Ensuring that every child receives at least one nutritious meal daily, improving concentration and wellbeing.
Tertiary Bursary Program
Supporting Nsobe graduates to pursue higher education and skills training.
Community Development, Empowerment & Skills Training
Developing Community School and housing Infrastructure, offering adult literacy and vocational skills training.
Community Health Support
Offering basic health support through community check-ups, access to medicines, and assistance with logistics to access clinic and hospital care.

The Challenges faced in rural Zambia are real; poverty, food insecurity, long journeys to school, early marriage, and a severe shortage of teachers. Nearly half of Zambia’s population is under 15, yet 98% of children cannot read by age 10, and while student numbers grow by 10% each year, teacher numbers rise by only 3%*
